GAF WeatherWatch
Self-sealing protection for vulnerable areas of the roof against wind-driven rain and ice dams.

By Creating a barrier at the most vulnerable areas of your asphalt shingle (at the eaves and rakes, in valleys, & around chimneys, etc.), Stubbs Roofing often uses WeatherWatch® Mineral-Surfaced Leak Barrier helps prevent leaks due to water backing up in your gutters, wind-driven rain, (and in the North, damaging ice dams). It will also help protect your home from expensive wall and ceiling staining from leaks.

GAF Weatherwatch is also what we suggest for use in a Secondary Water Barrier (SWR). A single layer of Weatherwatch will take the place of your more common synthetic underlayment. You may qualify for additional insurance discounts in this particular application. For all other roof system, Weatherwatch or Stormguard is commonly used in valleys, eaves, and for used around other flashings.
